In this context, our new centralized Group Engineering Organization (GEO) serves as a key factor that provides our Group with the expertise, methodology and personnel for the successful implementation of strategic projects.

• Project Engineering: Manage mechanical project engineering from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with standards and improving project efficiency.
• Layout and Design: Develop and optimize arrangement layouts for metallurgical and process equipment, plant design, and piping to enhance efficiency and ease of operation and maintenance.
• Equipment and Piping: Define design criteria and basic specifications for process and metallurgical equipment, including detail.
• Procurement and Supplier Management: Review supplier offers, manage RFx documents, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the best solution.
• Construction and Compliance: Oversee construction, prepare for commissioning, address NCRs, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Completed master’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in project work and system development.
• Understanding of chemical or metallurgical production processes is an advantage.
• Business fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Very good communication skills to routinely give presentations to relevant stakeholders and external partners.
• Proven solution orientation and independence.
• Strong teamwork skills, experience in conflict resolution, interest in new challenges, and intercultural competence.
• Willingness to travel (internationally, approx. 20%) rounds off your profile.
