The impact you will have:

1. Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory to provide technical and business value in collaboration with an Account Executive. This includes owning the (or parts thereof) technical relationship with clients from a pre-sales point of view.
2. Gain excitement from clients about Databricks including the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
3. Become a trusted technical advisor to your customers in the domain of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing and/or Data Science.
4. Support your customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
5. Engage with customers and the broader Databricks technical community through workshops, seminars, enablements and meet-ups.
6. Develop both technically and in the pre-sales aspect with the goal of becoming an independently operating Solutions Architect.

What we look for:

1. Familiarity working with clients, creating a narrative, answering customer questions, aligning the agenda with important interests, and achieving tangible outcomes.
2. Ability to independently deliver a technical proposition, identify customers' pain-points, and explain important areas for business value to develop a trusted advisor skillset.
3. Knowledgeable in a core Big Data Analytics domain with some exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept and an understanding of a major public cloud platform.
4. Code in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
5. A proactive mindset who likes to work as a part of a larger account team and enjoys to independently take ownership of technical topics and relationships.
6. Full professional proficiency in English and German.
7. Experience in Financial Services, Insurances or Energy preferred.
