The Administrator: Accounts Payable is responsible for ensuring successful delivery within a changing environment characterized by diverse tax, financial, regulatory, and governance challenges. This role involves:

• Managing the diversifying telco-to-tech landscape.
• Navigating local economic, regulatory, and legal challenges and evolving industry ecosystems.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders with potentially competing interests.

• Managing demanding stakeholders.
• Enhancing MTN's reputation as a secure, reliable, and safe network provider at OpCo level.
• Supporting the MTN Board and EXCO in safeguarding assets, reputation, and sustainability.

The Administrator: Accounts Payable aims to achieve objectives in several areas:

• Payments and Invoice Processing: Capture and validate invoices, resolve queries, ensure timely payments, and manage related documentation and reconciliation.
• Travel Expense Administration: Manage foreign travel claims, ensure policy adherence, reconcile accounts, and handle audit queries.
• Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement: Optimize procedures, recommend automation, and improve operational efficiencies.
• Quality Management and Reporting: Monitor financial statements, ensure compliance, and seek continuous quality improvements.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Creditors, Accounts, and Finance, with knowledge of General Ledger and Foreign Exchange.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in cross-organizational communication.
• Understanding of VAT principles related to invoices and claims.

• Solve problems, ensure quality, and drive results.
• Possess financial and business acumen, organizational awareness, and effective communication skills.
• Demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and initiative.
