Requirements
  • Minimum: Matric / Grade 12
  • Advantageous: Technical Diploma (Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Operations, or similar)
  • Experience in industrial insulation, fabrication, construction, or related technical environment
  • 35 years of experience in branch management / operations / site management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Valid Drivers License & willingness to travel locally when required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily branch operations and workflow
  • Manage and mentor branch staff
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and client retention
  • Prepare budgets, cost control, and ensure profitability
  • Drive new business development and sales activities
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations
  • Reporting to Head Office on operational and financial performance
  • Control operational costs and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Approve procurement, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
  • Analyse financial data to identify areas for improvement.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards (SANS standards, insulation specifications, metal fabrication requirements).
  • Implement continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, job cards, and compliance records.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of industrial insulation, cladding, and sheet metal fabrication processes.
  • Solid financial acumen and strategic planning abilities.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, material requirements, and project specifications.
