Job summary
A vehicle service company in Kempton Park is seeking a skilled mechanic for a contract position that may become permanent. The ideal candidate must have their own tools and at least five years of experience in servicing and repairing vehicles. Strong communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Responsibilities include maintenance checks, repairs, and ensuring company assets are well cared for.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher technical qualification.
- Minimum five years general maintenance experience essential.
- Knowledge of service, repair and diagnostics for all vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and diagnostics of vehicles.
- Ensure scheduled maintenance is done on vehicles.
- Overall care and maintenance of company assets.
- Pro-active planning of repairs and services.

- Ability and willingness to work irregular and extended hours
- Precise and accurate nature, as well as attention to detail
