One of our key clients has an urgent requirement for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be based at their offices in Warrington on a permanent basis, with hybrid working available. As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the full nuclear life cycle across Nuclear Defence and Civil Nuclear projects. You will assist in the effective management of the customer to aid in the development and resolution of technical and delivery issues. You will ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities. You will maintain the engineering configuration, ensuring the overall design intent and integrity is maintained throughout the design lifecycle. You will provide support to the Project Manager for planning, coordination and delivery of tasks and projects.

Essential experience (as stated):

• Nuclear experience is not a necessity; we welcome applications from all engineering backgrounds.
• Ownership and delivery mindset; champions high performance and is courageous to challenge the status quo.
• Knowledge of CAD tools and general engineering drawing practice.
• Ability to build strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience leading a team.
