Job summary

A leading jewellery retail chain seeks a Jewellery Processing Centre Manager in Johannesburg to oversee the operations of its refurbishment and sale of pre-owned jewellery. You will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality control, and profitability while leading a team of artisans. Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in jewellery manufacturing and at least 3 years in a management role. A Grade 12 qualification and relevant tertiary education are preferred. Proximity to Lanseria is ideal due to working hours and additional overtime requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in jewellery manufacturing.
  • 3 years in a management role within the jewellery or luxury retail sector.
  • Specialist certifications like those from the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end operations of the jewellery processing facility.
  • Implement quality standards for finished products.
  • Manage stock levels and systems to prevent loss.
  • Lead and train a team of artisans and staff.
