We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to maintain and grow strong customer relationships while driving sales across BMG’s FMCG and industrial consumables product categories. The role plays a key part in expanding digital adoption through www.bmgworld.net and identifying new opportunities within the agricultural, engineering, and manufacturing sectors.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships by offering tailored solutions across BMG’s FMCG and industrial consumables range.
- Drive digital transformation by onboarding customers onto www.bmgworld.net
- and training them on online ordering and product discovery.
- Promote new product launches, special offers, and seasonal promotions in line with Marketing campaigns.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and customer engagement targets.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the agricultural, engineering, and manufacturing sectors in the region.
- Provide regular market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to regional management.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely delivery, and effective customer service follow-up.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably within BMG or a similar FMCG / industrial environment.
- Proven sales experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Engineering
- Automotive
- Agricultural and general industrial consumables
- Experience in B2B, B2C, and face-to-face sales.
- Strong understanding of digital selling tools and experience driving adoption of online sales platforms such as www.bmgworld.net
- Target-driven, energetic, and self-motivated with strong initiative.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Resilient and confident in handling objections and rejection.
- Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
