Job summary

A leading logistics company in Gauteng is seeking a Dispatch Clerk to support the picking, packing, and delivery of customer orders. The ideal candidate will maintain dispatch records, verify stock, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. A Grade 12 qualification is required, and a formal qualification in Logistics Management is advantageous. Strong administrative and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Support the picking, packing, and delivery of customer orders.
  • Maintain dispatch records and verify stock.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations in the dispatch area.

Skills

Experience working in a Distribution Centre or similar environment
Knowledge of delivery planning and administration
Understanding of customer and supplier service standards
Professional telephone etiquette and communication skills
Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good numerical ability for data capturing and checking
Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively across departments
