About the job Logistics Controller Randburg (Permanent)
The Logistics Co-ordinator will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all logistics and supply chain activities to ensure the efficient delivery of solar products and systems across Gauteng and surrounding regions.

Matric / Grade 12 (essential).

  • A tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a logistics or supply chain coordination role.
  • Prior experience in a technical or construction-related industry is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory systems and MS Office (Excel in particular).
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily deliveries and collections of solar equipment and components.

Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, drivers, and installation teams to ensure timeous dispatch and receipt of goods.

Monitor inventory levels and update stock systems to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, invoices, and delivery notes.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all logistical processes.

Resolve delivery or transport issues and elevate where necessary.

Assist in the optimisation of routes and transport schedules to minimise costs and delays.
