Innovative Online Afrikaans Senior Phase Educator
Job summary
A leading educational institution is looking for a Senior Phase Afrikaans teacher for 2026. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging online lessons, develop innovative teaching strategies, and maintain effective communication with students and parents. Must possess a Bachelor's degree or relevant PGCE and SACE registration. Experience with the IEB curriculum is a plus. This full-time position requires a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant PGCE is necessary for this position.
- SACE registration is essential for teaching legally in South Africa.
- Experience with the IEB curriculum is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to students in an online format.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that leverage technology.
- Create and manage online course materials including lesson plans and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences online.
- Maintain regular communication with students and parents.
