Role Overview
We’re looking for a smart, proactive and detail-driven Financial Manager to help scale our client's financial systems, reporting, and strategic forecasting as we grow locally and globally. This person will be responsible for the full financial function of the company, supporting decision-making and ensuring compliance, control, and capital efficiency across all business areas.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning & Budgeting
  Lead budgeting, forecasts, and cash flow planning
  Support business modelling and scenario planning
  
• Financial Reporting
  Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements
  Provide insights for performance and strategy
  
• Cost Management & Margins
  Monitor costs across operations and improve margin performance
  
• Cash Flow & Treasury
  Manage working capital and short-term cash
  
• Compliance & Risk
  Ensure compliance with SARS, VAT, payroll, and audits
  
• Team Leadership
  Supervise small finance/admin team and internal controls
  
• Tools & Systems
  Oversee tools like Xero and Excel models
  
  
  
  

• BCom Accounting / Financial Management; CIMA/CA(SA) preferred
  
• 5+ years in financial management (SME/FMCG preferred)
  
• Excellent Excel and forecasting skills
  
• Experience with Xero and growth-stage companies a plus
