Job summary

A leading IT services provider is seeking a Security Specialist for a contract role in Gqeberha, South Africa. This position is crucial for safeguarding the Department's ICT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards, and managing risks. The ideal candidate will possess a Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science/Information Systems and have a minimum of 6 years' experience in Information Security. ISACA CISM certification is required, and experience in managing ICT security threats is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Degree/National Diploma in Computer Science/Information Systems required.
  • Minimum of 6 years in Information Security, or Grade 12 with 10 years of experience.
  • ISACA CISM certification is a must.
  • Experience as an ICT security specialist is beneficial.
  • Ability to learn quickly in the industry is essential.

  • Assist in protecting ICT infrastructure from vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards.
