Remote UK Accountant (ACCA) – Client Advisory & Compliance
Job summary
A UK accountancy firm is seeking a qualified Accountant with over 5 years of experience. This remote role based in South Africa involves managing UK client accounts, preparing financial submissions, and providing advisory services. Candidates must be ACCA qualified with a strong understanding of UK tax regulations and excellent communication skills. The position offers a salary range of R50,000 to R65,000 per month.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in an accountancy practice or advisory agency.
- Deep understanding of UK accounting standards, VAT, CIS, and corporation tax.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review statutory accounts, CT600 returns, VAT returns, and CIS submissions.
- Advise clients on cash flow, profitability, and tax planning.
- Review work from junior accountants and bookkeepers.
