Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounting close tasks
• Preparing and submitting VAT calculations and filings
• Preparing corporate tax schedules and submissions
• Assisting junior colleagues with task completion
• Liaising with the financial reporting team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of annual financial statements
• Ensuring compliance with CIPC requirements, SARS, and international accounting regulations
• Supporting senior colleagues with ad-hoc accounting and reporting tasks

Required Skills & Experience

• 25 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping firm (non-negotiable)
• Professional accounting qualification (PA(SA))
• Strong knowledge of VAT, CIPC requirements, SARS e-filing, and international regulations (AU / EU)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, DEXT, Asana
• Highly structured, process-driven, and detail-oriented
