A leading manufacturer of trailers is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer in Bloemfontein. You will assist in the design and optimization of trailer and truck body components, supporting manufacturing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and some experience or proficiency in CAD software. This role offers opportunities for growth and hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Formación
- 0-2 years in mechanical design, manufacturing, or heavy vehicle/trailer engineering.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to support production and design teams.

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will assist with the design, development, and optimization of trailer and truck body components. Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing processes, conducting technical analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also contribute to product improvements, troubleshooting, and implementing cost-effective engineering solutions in a high-paced production environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 0-2 years in mechanical design, manufacturing, or heavy vehicle / trailer engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD), mechanical design, and structural analysis.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to improve product performance and efficiency.
- Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and support production and design teams.
