About Us

We are a growing granite manufacturing business based in Brits, supplying high-quality cut and polished stone to clients across South Africa and beyond. Our factory is equipped with cutting, polishing, and finishing machinery, and we take pride in our craftsmanship and reliability.

We’re looking for a driven, hands-on General Manager who can take full ownership of production, workforce productivity, operational systems, and machinery maintenance. Key Responsibilities

·• Oversee daily factory operations – cutting, polishing, dispatch

·• Lead and motivate a team of factory workers and supervisors

·• Implement efficient production schedules to maximize output and minimize downtime

·• Ensure all machinery is well-maintained and fully operational

·• Improve and formalize internal processes for quality, safety, and efficiency

·• Identify opportunities to cut costs and increase margins without compromising quality

·• Enforce discipline, accountability, and high performance within the team

·• Report directly to the business owner with KPIs and operational insights

·• Drive continuous improvement and be a key player in growth strategy

Qualifications & Experience

·• 5+ years in factory/operations/production management, ideally in granite, stone, mining, or manufacturing

·• Strong track record in labour productivity, machine maintenance, and process development

·• Technical knowledge of factory machinery (cutters, polishers, etc.)

·• Fluent in English; Afrikaans or Setswana is a plus

·• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and planning skills

·• Ambitious, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
