Availability to work extended hours to meet deadlines when necessary
Excellent leadership skills including team and shift planning

Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operations
Analyze production data to identify and resolve any production issues
Prepare production reports and submit them to key decision-makers
Regularly inspect finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards
Review and audit production processes to identify strategies for improvement
Assist the Factory Manager in managing the factory effectively
Research and development (R&D) of new products
Ensure that production goals and targets are met
Effectively manage and motivate staff
Ensure all relevant compliance
Schedule and coordinate production timelines to ensure timely delivery of products
Liaise with suppliers to order and manage inventory of raw materials and ensure their timely delivery
Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime
Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation to track progress and efficiency
Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet production standards and customer satisfaction
Coordinate with the finance department to manage production budgets and control expenses
Facilitate communication between production teams and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Organize training sessions for production staff on new equipment or production techniques
Inspection of equipment and floorspace for hygiene
Daily checking and ensuring work environment, equipment, machinery and surfaces are clean and sanitised
Check fill levels and ensure filling machines are calibrated regularly
Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality standards are met
Production - checking hourly that team is meeting targets and identifying bottlenecks and fixing issues immediately – report issues to Factory Manager
