Job summary

A well-established commodity trading house in Somerset West is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. This role supports the sales team in the efficient management of shipping, transporting, and distribution of products. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant degree and some experience in logistics. Responsibilities include negotiating transport rates, coordinating shipments, and conducting stock takes. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics management, business or related fields.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) will be ideal.
  • Knowledge of PC Software Applications will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and negotiate rates from 3rd party transporters.
  • Arrange collections and deliveries to and from warehouses/customers.
  • Conduct monthly remote stock takes to ensure accuracy.
