Job summary
A global leader in secondary power distribution is seeking an experienced finance professional in Roodepoort, South Africa. The successful candidate will manage financial control and perform variance analysis, preparing annual budgets and forecasts. They should possess at least 5 years of accounting experience and have strategic thinking abilities, as well as advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling. Knowledge in the electrical supply industry and experience with Microsoft D365 are essential.
Qualifications
- 5 years' accounting experience within a commercial and manufacturing business.
- Ability to communicate financial data to non-financial employees.
- Able to produce management reports for meetings.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and review monthly results.
- Perform variance analysis against current and prior year results.
- Provide support and strategic input to management.
- Manage relationship with local auditors.
