This five-month project role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a globally relevant and strategically important initiative within Sandvik’s Ground Support Division.

You will be part of a pilot project to design and implement a structured Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process that enhances transparency, cross-functional collaboration, and planning reliability across our global manufacturing network.

• Conducting a diagnostic analysis of current S&OP practices across selected sites and functions.
• Supporting the development of a harmonized S&OP framework, including demand planning, supply matching, and KPI tracking.
• Contributing to the pilot implementation of an S&OP cycle at one production site, with the aim of scaling globally.
• Enabling better decision-making through improved visibility into demand, capacity, and inventory.
• Fostering cross-functional alignment to support long-term goals of load balancing and cost‑efficient planning.

You will work closely with the Vice President Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain and collaborate with stakeholders from sales, operations, procurement, and finance. Occasional business travel may be required.

• A strong interest in supply chain management, operations planning, or industrial engineering.
• Analytical skills and the ability to structure complex problems into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive and curious mindset, eager to learn and contribute to global projects.
