Key Accountabilities:
Oversee operations and ensure records are accurately maintained
Ensure timely update of trade information into the system.
Ensure adequate credit facility in place for each shipment.
Manage vessel/barge operations, cargo stowage plan and demurrage calculations.
Handle disputes and potential claims matters (if any).
Monitor ship operations, cargo readiness and stock tank balances to ensure sales orders and delivery dates are met.
Pre-shipment: Scrutiny of contracts, nomination/acceptance of dates, finalisation of quantity and nomination/acceptance of vessel, preparation activities payment security etc.
Ensure quantity/quality is maintained as per contract. Provide necessary instructions to inspectors regarding quantity/quality assessments.
Agency/Surveyor appointment
Ensure timely loading/discharge of vessels
Post-shipment: Scrutiny and circulation of relevant documents
Issue and send payment instructions and payment invoices to counterparties
Manage marine operations (cargo operations, bunker deliveries, ex-wharf, COA, T/C barges etc)
Operations sheet update
CTRM/SAP timely entry/update
Pricing/Invoice/payment/settlement
Cost and provision
Timely month/year end updates
Essential Education, Experience and Job Requirements:
Candidate should possess at least a diploma qualification, with at least four (4) years of working experience, preferably in Logistics and Commodity Trading field
Experience (minimum one year) in bunker trading operations, cargo and inter tank transfer operations (must have)
Bilingual in English and Chinese(preferred) as it is required to communicate with Chinese counterparties
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Comfortable with working independently with some autonomy
Good working attitude and team player
