Job summary
A logistics company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and secure new customers. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics and hold a Class 3 License with a vehicle. Responsibilities include executing strategies, managing customer performance, and interacting with vendors for the best rates. This position offers a competitive salary plus allowances.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience in related fields.
- Possess Class 3 License and own vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Hunt and secure new business and customers.
- Meet targets and increase revenue and gross profit.
- Execute business development strategies and tactics.
- Interact with vendors to secure best market rates.
- Manage performance of owned customers.
- Work on tenders, RFQs, and bids.
- Maintain positive internal stakeholder relationships.
- Contribute to process improvements.
