About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Marketing Manager to lead X’s marketing and community growth efforts across the Asia‑Pacific region, with a primary focus on China and Korea.You will blend strategic foresight with operational execution, owning the full marketing lifecycle — from brand positioning and campaign delivery to event leadership and executive engagement.You’ll drive user acquisition, brand awareness, and thought leadership, while ensuring that X’s story resonates across cultures, platforms, and industries.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute multi‑year go‑to‑market strategies for China and Korea, balancing domestic and export growth.
  • Develop and localize integrated marketing strategies and compelling marketing collateral (including but not limited to decks, white papers, and creative campaigns) across APAC, aligning regional plans with global objectives.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Policy to co‑author long‑range brand and export playbooks for key global trade corridors (US↔China, ME↔Korea, Japan↔SEA, Europe↔LATAM).
  • Content & Campaign Execution
    • Create and curate engaging, locally relevant content across platforms including X, WeChat, Douyin, Kakao, and TikTok.
    • Lead multi‑channel marketing campaigns for product launches, events, and thought leadership initiatives — from concept to post‑campaign analysis.
    • Oversee social and community management, ensuring consistent engagement and brand voice across APAC markets.
  • Executive Engagement & Events
    • Host quarterly C‑suite salons and closed‑door events with top regional executives to position X as the thought leader in cross‑border commerce.
    • Own X’s regional presence at GDC, ChinaJoy, G‑Star, and Tokyo Game Show, transforming every booth into a growth engine.
    • Deliver event ROI dashboards that demonstrate impact and drive future investment.
  • Analytics, Optimization & Insights
    • Track and report on regional performance metrics, optimizing content and campaign performance for growth and ROI.
    • Analyze market and cultural trends to bring fresh, data‑driven insights that shape brand strategy and creative output.
  • Manage cross‑functional alignment across global and regional teams.
  • Build and lead relationships with agencies, vendors, and local partners to ensure quality and consistency of execution.
  • Steward the marketing budget with start‑up discipline — achieving impact on lean resources.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of marketing experience in APAC, with at least 5 years independently leading in China or Korea.
  • Native‑level Mandarin or Korean, plus strong business English communication skills.
  • Proven record of 50%+ YoY growth in complex, competitive, or regulated markets.
  • Expertise across social media strategy, brand marketing, and digital content, ideally within tech or social platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset — able to translate data into actionable marketing insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
