Industrial Engineer (Supply Chain Process Improvement & Automation) - SL
Our client is a leading player in cold chain and retail logistics sector. They manages end-to-end warehousing and distribution for chilled, frozen, and ambient products. With a focus on automation, sustainability, and operational excellence, it supports major retailers in ensuring timely and efficient inventory replenishment.
You will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end supply chain optimization with a focus on enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This position supports the analysis and refinement of automated warehouse systems to boost operational capacity and performance, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, collaboration, and overall system performance.
Conduct time motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements in warehouse operations.
Leverage data analytics tools to generate insights, monitor trends, and drive data-informed decisions for process optimization.
Apply industrial engineering principles to implement best practices in warehouse operations and automated systems.
Translate business needs into practical solutions by addressing operational pain points and offering targeted process improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders and automation vendors to co-develop innovative processes and integrate new technologies.
Support training and change management efforts to ensure effective adoption of new systems and automation tools.
Assist in CI and automation project management
Qualifications:
Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or a related field.
Must have experience in warehouse operations, with a strong background in process redesign, optimization through data and cost analysis, and effective change management.
Experienced in warehouse automation system and project management will be an added advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
