The University Counselling Services (UCS), within Health & Wellbeing under the Office of the President, designs, implements, and evaluates programmes that support the general student population, as well as students exposed to acute, mentally stressful events.
The Locum Counsellor/Psychologist provides professional counselling and psychological support to students and contributes to a campus wide approach to mental health and wellbeing. The role includes counselling assessments and interventions, crisis management, case management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. The Locum Counsellor will be part of a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team dedicated to enhancing student wellbeing and will support service needs during designated shifts or periods of high demand.
