This role involves hands-on, practical work that includes installing and troubleshooting IT equipment, managing data-bearing devices, and supporting system setups. Ideal candidates will have some technical experience, good communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Qualifications
- Experience working hands-on with technical equipment.

- Ability to lift equipment and work at heights if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware.
- Handle data-bearing devices safely and securely.
- Support equipment setup and maintenance.
Skills
Our client is seeking a proactive and hands‑on individual to join their data centre operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, technical work and wants to build a strong foundation in data centre support.
- Installing, replacing, and troubleshooting cables and hardware to ensure smooth operation of all systems.
- Handling data-bearing devices such as hard drives and solid-state drives safely and securely.
- Supporting equipment setup and maintenance, including racks, servers, and networking components.
- Assisting with inventory management and equipment tracking during high-volume periods.
- Responding to operational requests through ticketing systems and ensuring timely resolution.
- Practical experience with IT equipment, technical tools, or machinery.
- Basic knowledge of hardware components and eagerness to learn new technical skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment and working at heights if required.
- Good communication skills, able to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team.
