A leading digital asset compliance service provider is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Singapore. The role blends client-facing technical leadership with core platform engineering. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, including API knowledge, full-stack development, and proven client-facing skills. This position requires on-site work in Singapore and excellent proficiency in English and Mandarin. Candidates will drive integration processes while contributing to scalable software solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and technology advancements.
Founded in 2018 by CPAs, tax attorneys, and software developers, Taxbit is creating an entirely new category to enable widespread compliant adoption of digital assets for the global economy. Taxbit’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform streamlines and automates customers’ tax reporting and accounting activities for digital assets.

Taxbit is backed by leading Silicon Valley VCs with teams located in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Europe.
Taxbit is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to be a critical technical partner in our growth. This role is a unique hybrid, split evenly between client-facing technical leadership and core platform engineering, perfect for someone who is passionate about helping the world's largest enterprises solve complex problems and navigate the complex frontier of digital asset compliance through cutting-edge software.
This role requires professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin. It is open only to candidates who currently reside in Singapore and are legally authorized to work in Singapore (e.g., holders of a valid Employment Pass or Permanent Resident status). The position requires on‑site availability and alignment with local business operations.
You will spend roughly half your time working directly with clients: providing deep technical guidance during the sales process, helping close deals, and owning the integration experience from start to finish. You will become the company's expert on our integration process, from backend data pipelines to frontend application integrations, and will develop and own the demos that bring our product to life.
The other half of your time will be spent as a key contributor to the core Taxbit platform. You will leverage the direct client insights from your field experience to identify problems, then design, build, and deliver scalable platform solutions and new features our clients need, directly shaping our product roadmap.
We welcome individuals who are humble, hungry, and excited to tackle some of the industry's biggest challenges at the intersection of technology and client success!
By submitting an application for this role, you certify that the information contained in the application is correct to the best of your knowledge. You understand that to falsify information is grounds for refusing to hire you, or for discharge should you be hired.
