Eden School is looking for a dedicated and creative Teacher Aide (Art) to join our team. If you are passionate about supporting students with autism and enjoy working hands-on with art materials, visual instructions, and creative projects, we welcome you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Art Room Management

• Assist in managing the art room and ensuring a safe, organised, and conducive learning environment.

• Check and maintain art material inventory; purchase materials when required.

• Ensure IT equipment is charged and ready for use.

• Clean and prepare art materials and toys to ensure safety.

• Support teachers in following art room systems and workflows.

• Gather feedback from teachers to improve art processes.

• Guide interns or deployed staff assisting with art activities.

• Prepare art materials and support teachers in facilitating students’ art-making.

Classroom & Curriculum Support

• Support classroom setup for art lessons, including preparation for both Art Curriculum and Art CCA sessions.

• Assist teachers with lesson planning and resource preparation.

Media & Creative Production

• Support in video production/editing for presentation videos, tutorials, or teaching resources (Art, PE, Math, and other subjects as assigned).

Visual & Creative Resources

Help construct or prepare visual instructions and craft templates used during lessons.

Who We’re Looking For

A patient, creative, and organised individual who enjoys working with students with ASD.

Someone who is comfortable with hands-on art work, preparing materials, crafting templates, and supporting the creative process.

Basic video editing or media production skills are an advantage.

A team player with strong initiative and attention to detail.
