Job summary
A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to assist with financial closing, accounts payable function, and bank duties. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree, along with 3-5 years of related experience, and is proficient in SAP. Key responsibilities include journal postings, vendor bill reviews, and liaising with stakeholders on financial matters.
Qualifications

- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the financial closing and accounts payables function.
- Responsible for journal posting and preparation of audit schedules.
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding closing matters.

The job holder will assist with the financial closing, accounts payables function, bank duties and IT administration function.
- Responsible for journal posting (accruals, expenses and adhoc transaction).
- Preparation and provide analysis report of GMA activities.
- Liaise with stakeholders on closing matters (GMA transactions and job margins).
- Preparation of audit schedules and Income Statement (for hosting activities).
- Responsible for Accounts Receivables posting of remittances received from customers.
- Review of vendor invoice postings made by DF Suppliers in SAP.
- Perform vendors’ account reconciliation and dispute resolution.
- Review of vendor payments and bank details prepared by Treasury Team.
- Ensure approvals are obtained from stakeholders, posted and uploaded into SAP for miscellaneous staff claims and payroll.
- Perform half-yearly inter-co reconciliation.
- Liaise with Treasury on funds call.
- Remit any excess funds back to HQ at each month end.
- Preparation of GST returns for New Zealand custsomer
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors.
- Diploma or Degree holder
- 3-5 years related working experience
