Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join their Corporate Finance team.
Responsibilities
This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of strategic corporate finance transactions, with a strong focus on IPOs and capital markets advisory.
As AVP, the successful candidate will be actively involved in managing end-to-end IPO processes, including due diligence, prospectus drafting, regulatory liaison, and coordination with external advisors such as legal counsel, auditors, and underwriters. The role also involves building detailed financial models, conducting valuation analyses, and preparing investor presentation materials. Beyond IPOs, the AVP will support a range of other equity and debt capital market transactions, as well as strategic advisory mandates such as M&A and corporate restructurings.
Requirements
This position requires a strong foundation in equity capital markets and deep familiarity with IPO frameworks, listing rules, and regulatory guidelines relevant to the local exchange (e.g. SGX, HKEX, or Bursa). The candidate should have 7-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or capital markets, ideally with direct involvement in successful IPO mandates.
