The Operations Assistant is a member of the logistics team, and is capable of performing, with minimal supervision, any of the three main activities of the logistics team: Receiving of materials, Picking/Issuing, Shipping of Final product and samples.

Key responsibilities:

1. Receiving of materials, according to the existing SOPs and always in compliance with the cGMPs.
2. Picking of materials and issuance to manufacturing (or other users), fulfilling all the required SAP transactions.
3. Participate in the shipping activities, both for Final product and samples, keeping the integrity and security of the goods shipped.
4. Participate in the Inventory Cycle count as required.
5. Maintain accuracy in all the required SAP processes and transactions.
6. Participate in the improvement projects affecting the logistics department.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
8. Able to lead individual function or operations (Receiving, Issuing and Shipping) in the absence of a senior operator or Specialist.
9. Good interpersonal skills.

Key requirements:

1. GCE O level / Diploma in Supply Chain/Material Management.
2. Significant warehousing experience in the logistics/biotech manufacturing environment.
3. Valid Forklift operating license.
4. Understanding of cGMP basic processes and procedures.
5. Good computer knowledge (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc).
6. Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment are essential.
7. Positive attitude, willing to learn.
8. Action orientation and a positive attitude.
