Job description
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the full set of accounts for Singapore, Malaysia entities within Archisen Group such as AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Intercompany transactions, Employee expense claims are processed in accordance with Singapore accounting standards. This includes data validation, invoice verification, receipt recording, and payment processing, while ensuring accuracy and provide high level of data integrity

  • Ensure all general ledger entries are accurate, complete, and properly supported with documentation

  • Manage month-end closing in a timely manner, including cash flow, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules, ensuring variances are tracked, followed up, and resolved promptly.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting activities.

  • Operate accounting system efficiently and effectively

  • Support and manage the statutory financial audit, grant audit, statutory corporate tax filing for entities

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities as required.

  • Contribute to process improvements, streamlining workflow processes to enhance better productivity

  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial analyses, budgeting process, projects, and any other tasks assigned by the supervisor and senior management.

Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in Accountancy with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience

  • Proven experience in managing multiple entities

  • Sound knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, SST (MY) and tax compliance

  • Experience in payroll accounting and managing intercompany transactions preferred

  • Experience working with an ERP system preferably Microsoft Dynamic 365 (but not limited to) and good in excel functions for work productivity

  • Relevant industry experience such as FMCG, trading, managing projects preferred

  • Proactive team-player with a strong willingness to learn and result-oriented

  • Ability to work independently meeting tight deadlines, high level of data accuracy, good problem-solving skill and attention to details
