We are seeking passionate and dedicated Surgical Patient Care Assistants to support our surgical and nursing teams. This entry-level role is ideal for those with a love for animals and an interest in building a career in veterinary healthcare.
- Provide daily care and comfort for surgical patients, including feeding, cleaning, and handling.
- Assist nurses and veterinarians in preparing patients for surgery and monitoring recovery.
- Help maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness of the surgical wards and hospital areas.
- Support the team in monitoring patients and reporting observations.
- Ensure excellent client service and communication when interacting with pet owners.
- Participate in shift rotations, including some weekends and public holidays.
- No prior experience required; animal handling or volunteering at shelters is an advantage.
- Strong passion for animals, with focus and dedication to patient care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
