Job Summary
The Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The role supports the day-to-day functioning of the facility through planned preventive maintenance, timely corrective actions, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities
1. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for building services systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and fire protection systems.
- Attend to service requests and reactive maintenance tasks promptly to minimise downtime.
- Conduct inspections and monitor system performance to ensure compliance with operational standards.

2. Technical Support and Reporting
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment faults and implementing appropriate corrective measures.
- Record maintenance works in checklists, logbooks, and CMMS where applicable.
- Support supervisors or engineers in preparing maintenance reports and documentation.
3. Safety and Compliance
- Observe all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and site safety procedures.
- Use the correct tools, PPE, and permits for each maintenance activity.
- Report safety hazards, near misses, and incidents immediately.
4. Teamwork and Service Quality
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and contractors to achieve operational excellence.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold the company’s service quality standards at all times.
Pre-requisite
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities or building maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of building systems such as ACMV, BMS, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS or work order systems preferred.
- Class 3 driving licence (advantageous).
- Engineering license certifications or CFME certifications (advantageous)
