Finance/Business Analyst
Description -
What a Finance/Business Analyst does at HP:
- Track and monitor financial conditions and compliance requirements associated with a major government grant.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for financial reporting, audits, and grant conditions.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, to ensure grant is optimized and fully utilized
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and grant obligations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Adapt quickly to changes in business priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Solve problems independently and collaboratively, ensuring timely resolution of financial issues.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-changing business environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills- Experience in multinational or complex organizational settings.
- Experience with working with stakeholders across different organizations both inside and outside of Finance.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP). Role requires collaboration with IT department from time to time.
- Familiarity with Singapore government grant processing is a plus.
