We’re looking to add aManufacturing Engineer inSingapore. The position will be based in ourHQ inAng Mo Kio.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

Provide Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Backend engineering support to production to sustain and improve production yield, quality, and component placement cycle time.

The key responsibilities are as below:

• Develop new manufacturing processes and create standard operating procedures for new SMT and Backend products, including New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Conduct design-for-manufacturing studies and liaise with customers to enhance product designs, aiming to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Conduct studies to enhance and develop process capabilities.
• Research and recommend manufacturing equipment to produce electronic products with high efficiency and quality.
• Innovate new processes to enhance quality and output.
• Resolve Process Engineering related issues on the production line.
• Lead a group of Supervisors and technicians to achieve quality improvements.
• Supervise Engineering Assistants for machine programming and the development of process instructions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, and/or equivalent field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in SMT/Backend processes (including wave soldering, robotic soldering, inline washing, and manual soldering) within a highly competitive PCBA environment.
• Knowledge of Fuji SMT equipment, Robotic Soldering machines, and Router machines is an added advantage.
• Analytical and proficient in troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
