Responsibilities

• Build stable, performant, and high quality Android application based on designs and requirements
• Code, test, document, and release Android application adhering to ShopBack’s engineering standard and industry best practices
• Work closely with product, designers, data and engineering teams to deliver products on schedule
• Actively participate in technical design discussions
• Improve and automate engineering processes to improve delivery velocity and quality

What we look for

• Experience building applications using Android SDK, and knowledge of handling Android device fragmentation
• Experience in developing Android apps using Kotlin (is a plus)
• Experience integrating apps with RESTful APIs
• Proficient in Git and familiar with continuous integration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Active team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and demonstrable design and UX sensibilities
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
