Operations Engineer in Singapore at Logicalis

Responsibilities:

1. Understand & familiarize with the process, practices and ITSM platform related to Support Operations.
2. Manage Support Hotline & Email during office hours, gather relevant information from customer during initial call.
3. Ensure that all correspondence with customers is performed in a prompt and courteous manner.
4. Perform onsite/remote site surveys and/or inventory audit for selected customers.
5. Validate customer firmware version and verify firmware releases note to ensure minimal related bug impacts.
6. Perform IOS upgrades and patches to address software bugs and ensure that the environment is updated with a safe harbour software version.
7. Basic troubleshooting of issues and network problems to fix any user-related issues and work with principal vendors and customers to provide the resolution within the SLA.
8. Responsible for updating technical documentation for configuration changes made via helpdesks and/or managed services customers.
9. Responsible for opening and closing of support tickets when applicable and providing timely updates to helpdesk personnel and customers for support cases that have been allocated to you.
10. Work closely with various teams of engineers for troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

1. Role is open to fresh graduates (NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, etc.).
2. Graduates in relevant fields of studies (IT, Infocomm, Com Science, etc.).
3. People with 1-2 years of IT-related working experience are welcomed to apply.
4. Looking for candidates with a strong interest/passion to learn and grow in the technology space.
5. Candidate should be customer-oriented and able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
6. Candidates should be willing to perform after office hours activities and standby duties. Existing knowledge/certification for network operations including network, wireless, and security technologies will be an added advantage.
