Job summary
A financial services company in Singapore seeks a motivated individual for accounting tasks. Responsibilities include basic accounting, invoice processing, and maintaining financial records. Ideal candidates should have good communication skills and be PC literate. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with a preference for candidates who can start immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience or basic accounting knowledge is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Must be able to start work immediately or within short notice.
- Singaporean candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic accounting tasks.
- Assist in processing and verifying invoices and payments.
- Follow up on overdue payments.
- Prepare payment vouchers for processing.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for invoice matching.
- Data entry and filing of documents.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.
Skills
Education
- Perform basic accounting
- Assist in processing and verifying invoices and payments
- Follow up on overdue payments
- Prepare payment vouchers for processing
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and accounting documents
- Coordinate with the procurement team to match invoices with delivery orders
- Data entry, filing of documents and record vendor/customer invoices in the system
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Initiative and possess positive working attitude
- Able to work independently
- PC Literate
- Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
- Preferred at least 2 years of working experience / basic accounting knowledge
- Fresh grades are welcome
- Must possess at least GCE 'O' Level / LCCI book keeping or equivalent
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
- Singaporean preferred
