Job summary
A retail management company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated team member to assist with purchase order management and inventory control. The ideal candidate is resourceful and proficient in both Mandarin and English, with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn. This role involves supporting logistics operations and coordinating stock allocations across shops. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays being half days.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Assist the team in managing purchase orders from development to shipment.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry for inventory shipments.
- Coordinate with shops for effective stock allocation.
- Liaise closely with the logistics team.
Skills
- Focuses mainly on purchasing, inventory control and management
- No prior experience required
- Assist the team in managing purchase orders from sample development to shipment
- Receive and process inventory shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data entry
- Assist with filing of paperwork and data entry to ensure that all relevant records are up to date
- Coordinate with respective shops to ensure effective allocation of stocks
- Provide support and liaise closely with the logistics team
- Help out at the warehouse as and when required
- Willingness to learn with a can-do attitude
- Resourceful, flexible, and a responsible team player
- Ability to work under pressure, short deadlines, and extra hours on assignments, if needed
- Proficient in Mandarin and English (ability to handle queries and feedback from Mandarin and English speaking associates and suppliers from China)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working hours are Monday-Friday and alternate Saturday (half day)
