Full-Time Dental Assistant
Dental Assistant (Full-Time)
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Full-Time Dental Assistant to support dentists and oral maxillofacial specialists in delivering high‑quality patient care. The role involves chairside assisting, patient support, clinical administration, and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards.
Assist dentists and specialists during dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, and implant treatments
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after procedures
Perform chairside assisting using four‑handed dentistry techniques
Clean, disinfect, sterilise, and store dental instruments according to MOH protocols
Prepare and reassure patients before treatment and assist with post‑operative instructions
Assist with dental radiographs if trained or certified
Maintain accurate clinical records and assist with charting and documentation
Support appointment scheduling, patient flow, billing, and basic administrative tasks
Manage dental supplies and inventory
Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms and common clinical areas
Comply with MOH, PDPC, infection control, and workplace safety policies
Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent
Certified Dental Assistant qualification (ITE or equivalent) preferred; training provided for suitable candidates
Prior dental clinic experience is an advantage
Basic knowledge of dental instruments and infection control standards
X-ray certification is an advantage but not mandatory
Proficient in spoken and written English; ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage
Basic computer and data entry skills
Employment Type: Full‑Time
Working Hours: 5.5‑day work week (44 hours per week); weekend work may be required
Work Location: Novena, Singapore
