Quality Assurance Officer (Executive)

A food manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to oversee compliance with food safety standards and manage quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing and a relevant degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English is required; knowledge of Mandarin is preferred. This role involves conducting audits and collaborating with cross-functional teams on R&D projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in Food Manufacturing/Baking.
- Experience in Bakery, Food R&D, Frozen Dough and Pastries preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and English; Mandarin is a plus.
Responsabilités
- Ensure food products meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Oversee quality assurance processes and conduct internal audits.
- Collaborate with teams to assist in new R&D product projects.
Connaissances
Formation
Ensure all food products are produced in compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Oversee the entire quality assurance processes
Conduct regular internal audits for the organization, manage external inspections and liaise with regulatory agencies for annual audits
Ad-hoc duties with production and operations on a daily basis, e.g. maintenance and pest control
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with new R&D product projects
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent
At least 1 Year of working experience in the Food Manufacturing/Baking is required for this position
Experience in Bakery, Food R&D, Frozen Dough and Pastries will be preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to communicate in English. Mandarin is also preferred in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates from Export Markets
Prior experience with FSSC Certification process will be preferred
