Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Operations & Project Manager to join our Software and Infrastructure team within the Enterprise Platforms product group. In this role, you will lead the deployment, and operationalization of the Singtel Telco Edge Cloud, GPU Private Cloud, and associated platform services. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional development, product, business, and architecture teams to drive end‑to‑end platform deployment and post‑deployment incident handling.

Technical Operations
  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan outlining procedures for handling various types of incidents.
  • Ensure all tickets are resolved by the Operations team within the agreed SLA to customers.
  • Assess and prioritize incidents based on severity and impact. Initiate appropriate response actions according to the incident response plan.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents, including their nature, impact, and resolution. Use incident data for post‑incident analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough post‑incident reviews to identify root causes and preventive measures. Share lessons learned with relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Address customer complaints and issues promptly. Monthly operations meeting with customers and incident SLA report submission.
Technical Project Management
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and successful completion of telco edge cloud projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to allocate resources and tasks effectively.
  • Possess a deep understanding of telecom technologies, networks, and infrastructure. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies relevant to telecom projects.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with private edge cloud deployments and operations. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, project team members, vendors, and clients. Provide regular project updates and reports, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and technical specifications.
Requirements
  • Operations & Project Management Certifications: PMP, CPM, ITIL.
  • Hypervisors: VMware ESXi, OpenStack, KVM, Nutanix (any 2).
  • Switches and firewalls: Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper or similar.
  • Servers: Rack‑mount servers, HCI, Blade servers.
  • Networking: BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and L2/L3 networking concepts.
  • Operating Systems: Linux.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various cross‑functional teams and groups.
