Job Description
Responsibilities
Assist QP(S) and Resident Engineers in the site supervision of civil/structural works and geotechnical works.
Work closely with Project Management Team, QP(S), QP(D), Client, Contractors and local Authorities to ensure successful and timely completion of the project.
Coordinate with Contractor’s site personnel to resolve site issues.
Carry out regular site inspections on Contractor’s works to ensure work quality & site safety.
Ensure Contractor’s works is carried out in accordance with approved designs and drawings.
Identify any non-conformance of Contractor's works on site and conduct check on Contractor’s rectification of non-conformance.
Ensure proper and up-to-date site documentation for on-going and completed works.
Requirements
Minimally a Diploma in any construction-related field, or National Certificate on Construction Supervision (NCSS) or Diploma in Construction Engineering from BCA Academy.
Possess minimum two (2) years’ relevant work experience.
Candidate must be a registered Resident Technical Officer.
Well versed with local Building Regulations/Acts and Codes of Practice.
Preferably possess working experience in geotechnical and instrumentation works. Added advantage for prior work experience in reclamation works.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work shift and willing to be deployed to offshore site.
