Duties and Responsibilities
As Cluster Sales Manager - KAFD, you will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. Your key role is to drive the right business at the right price to ensure the properties achieve budgeted occupancy, rate, and revenue. The duties include:
- Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities within the region, leveraging competitor analysis and data insights to construct a proactive approach to revenue performance.
- Collaborate with the Global Luxury and Lifestyle sales team on account planning and sales activations to enhance revenue performance across the cluster hotels.
- Develop relationships with selected agencies and companies to create new revenue streams and increase market share.
- Travel to key markets for face-to-face meetings, presentations, and events to build relationships and negotiate business.
- Manage key relationships with existing KAFD accounts and act as the primary liaison for government partners and agencies to drive revenue and visibility.
- Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and roadshows.
- Address client needs proactively, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Develop and implement sales plans, set targets, and coordinate advertising, promotions, and rate strategies with the revenue manager.
- Focus on revenue generation and profile building for resorts, spas, and Six Senses.
- Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including reporting, contractual obligations, security, safety, and budget controls.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share in assigned territories.
- Train staff to instill a cost-focused philosophy.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, Hotel or Business Management.
- More than five years’ experience in a senior sales and marketing role, preferably in luxury hotels.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
