Job description

Zeeco Middle East is strategically located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is committed to engineering and manufacturing the world’s most reliable combustion and environmental solutions for industries such as refining, production, LNG, petrochemical, power, pharmaceutical, and biogas industries to customers across the region.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology, BS Electrical Engineering, or BS Controls Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience working on industrial, electrical, and electronic equipment.
• Proficient in computer skills (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Microsoft Office suite, and other control design software).

Job Responsibilities

• Review all documents related to the assigned project to determine the scope of each equipment.
• Review the as-sold control scope to ensure it remains within the budget.
• Prepare bid tabs for control items for review and discussion with project stakeholders.
• Attend kick-off meetings, HAZOP, SIL meetings, and technical meetings with project engineers and customers.
• Collaborate with the C&I team leader to review system design and scheduling as needed.
• Coordinate with project engineers on scheduling and clarifications with customers.
• Use AutoCAD and other software to prepare control documents meeting project specifications.
• Develop control narratives and Cause & Effect diagrams in coordination with process engineers.
• Prepare instrument block diagrams, loop diagrams, interconnection diagrams, electrical one-line diagrams, power consumption lists, cable & conduit schedules, and I/O lists.
• Create BOMs for control panels, including enclosures, pilot lights, pushbuttons, relays, timers, trip alarms, purge systems, and PLCs.
• Prepare instrument specifications data sheets (ISS) and hook-up drawings for instrumentation.
• Develop valve data sheets for manual and automatic valves and safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
• Design drawings and layouts for control panels, power distribution, junction boxes, and ACWL systems.
• Create logic diagrams for PLCs and DCS systems.
• Plan routing and schedules for power and instrument cables.
• Prepare RFQs and material requisitions for vendors.
• Coordinate with procurement for technical and commercial evaluations before purchase order placement.
• Attend factory acceptance tests (FAT) to inspect equipment at Zeeco facility with the customer.
• Support the service team during start-up and commissioning for technical clarifications.
