Job description

A-Clinical Practice:

1. Diligently completes assigned responsibilities within established hospital, division, and EMS guidelines under the supervision of the EMS Station Supervisor.
2. Provides high-quality patient care pre-hospital and in-hospital, based on understanding patient needs, following medical oversight, policies, procedures, and protocols.
3. Delivers attentive, thorough, efficient, and cost-effective patient care.
4. Maintains awareness of patients' physical, medical, and cultural needs at all times.
5. Stays informed about current EMS trends and healthcare developments.
6. Anticipates potential problems and responds appropriately.
7. Operates and maintains EMS vehicles and equipment properly to prevent damage.
8. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

B-Administration:

1. Completes duties with attention to detail and efficiency.
2. Ensures EMS vehicles are always ready for use.
3. Adheres to EMS administrative and Medical Control directives.
4. Completes assigned administrative tasks diligently.
5. Participates actively in EMS staff meetings.
6. Performs other duties as assigned within qualifications and capabilities.

C-Education & Research:

1. Attends skills maintenance programs regularly to ensure proficiency.
2. Maintains professional licensure and certifications.
3. Participates in developing and presenting educational awareness programs.
4. Works on improving communication skills in English and Arabic.
5. Assists in orientation and professional development of EMS personnel.
6. Attends and participates in professional development courses and research programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor in Emergency Medical Services or higher.
• Experience: At least 1 year as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic.
• Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic is desirable.

Required Licenses:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Accredited EMS Licensure from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties DOT

Preferred Licenses:

• EMS Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS)
• Light Transportation Driving License
• 60+ in STEP English Exam (one-time submission)
