Each of the resort’s 210 sea-facing rooms provides immediate beach access, allowing guests to step out onto the sands of the Red Sea from the terrace. Moreover, the resort features seven different gastronomic experiences, sprawling pools and recreational facilities, a spa, a health club, and curated meeting and events spaces for leisure, business travelers, and groups.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained, and organized at all times.
  2. Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
  3. Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards.
  4. Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
  5. Assist the Cooks and Servers as necessary.
  6. Collect and remove trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures.
  7. Dispose of waste as per hotel and authority standards and adhere to recycling guidelines.
  8. Ensure waste bin area is kept clean and tidy.
  9. Carry out general cleaning including sweeping, mopping, washing up, and emptying rubbish bins and boxes, ensuring correct placement in containers.
  10. Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.
  11. Maintain cleanliness of floors and walls in kitchen and dishwashing area.
  12. Clean and sanitize dishes and related serviceware following procedures.
  13. Clean large equipment as assigned, following procedures.
  14. Adhere to SDS (Safety Data Sheet) information related to chemical use.
  15. Operate industrial dishwashers proficiently.
  16. Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order, checking chemical levels and inventory.
  17. Wash, wipe, sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwashers.
  18. Store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
  19. Remove broken or chipped items from circulation and update inventory registers.
  20. Clean, sanitize, and close workstations.
  21. Use and maintain all equipment according to manufacturer and department guidelines.
  22. Report maintenance or hazard issues to the chief steward/manager.
  23. Assist in light food preparation as directed.
  24. Assist in serving food and beverages in the dining room.
  25. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  26. Clean the hood filter as per company policy.
  27. Set up the restaurant and banquet buffet.
  28. Organize the China room or storage areas.
  29. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation, hygiene standards, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals (SDS compliance). Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing equipment and perform general kitchen cleaning tasks efficiently.
