Vacancy: Service Mechanical Engineer - Machine Tools

Job Description:

The Service Mechanical Engineer for Machine Tools is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and components in machine tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in machine tool maintenance and repair are a plus.

Minimum Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical service engineering, specifically with machine tools.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Commissioning:

• Install and commission new machine tools and related equipment.
• Ensure proper assembly and alignment of mechanical systems.
• Perform initial testing and adjustments for optimal performance.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Repair or replace defective components such as bearings and gears.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and operators.
• Train customers on proper use and maintenance.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of activities.
• Prepare service reports and documentation.
• Report recurring issues or suggestions for improvements.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with technological advancements.
• Participate in training programs.
• Contribute to improving service procedures.
