Job summary
A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and maintenance of electrical systems for the Fadhili Gas Plant Project in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role demands over 10 years of electrical engineering experience, particularly in oil & gas projects, with expertise in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards. Candidates should have strong knowledge of power systems and proven capabilities in project execution, ensuring safe and reliable electrical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, at least 5 in oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Proven experience with Saudi Aramco projects and standards.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, protection schemes, and hazardous area classifications.
- Familiarity with electrical integration with telecom and instrumentation systems.

- Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards.

Education
The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems for the Fadhili Gas Plant Project. This role requires extensive experience in oil & gas projects, strong technical expertise, and compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES) to ensure safe and reliable power distribution and electrical infrastructure.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Proven experience with Saudi Aramco projects and standards.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of power systems, protection schemes, and hazardous area classifications.
- Familiarity with SCADA, DCS, and electrical integration with telecom and instrumentation systems.
- Design & Engineering: Develop detailed electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with SAES, SEC, and international electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
- Project Execution: Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and control panels.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, and performance testing for electrical systems.
