Job summary
A global engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to manage the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems at the Fadhili Gas Plant Project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, especially in oil & gas sectors, and demonstrate compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards. Expertise in power systems and project execution is crucial. This position offers a vital role in ensuring reliable electrical infrastructure in a challenging environment.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Proven experience with Saudi Aramco projects and standards.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, and performance testing for electrical systems.

Senior Electrical Engineer
The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems for the Fadhili Gas Plant Project. This role requires extensive experience in oil & gas projects, strong technical expertise, and compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES) to ensure safe and reliable power distribution and electrical infrastructure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Certifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Proven experience with Saudi Aramco projects and standards.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of power systems, protection schemes, and hazardous area classifications.
- Familiarity with SCADA, DCS, and electrical integration with telecom and instrumentation systems.
- Design & Engineering:
- Develop detailed electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with SAES, SEC, and international electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
- Project Execution:
- Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and control panels.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, and performance testing for electrical systems.
