Job summary

A manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia seeks a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience to prepare technical documents such as Prequalification Documents, Material Test Certificates, and Inspection Plans. Proficiency in Arabic and English and strong technical writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience inside Saudi Arabia in the relevant field.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English.
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
• Preferred experience in communication with consultants and government authorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Prequalification Documents (PQD).
• Review Technical Submittals, Compliance Sheets, and Data Sheets.
• Prepare Material Test Certificates (MTC) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and departments for technical documentation.

Job description

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Prequalification Documents (PQD).
• Prepare and review all Technical Submittals, Compliance Sheets, and Data Sheets.
• Prepare and understand all Material Test Certificates (MTC), Warranty Letters, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Prepare Internal Test Reports, Production Reports, and Technical Letters/Replies.
• Prepare SASO and ISO files related to product certification.
• Understand and prepare Pipe Drawings and Packing Lists.
• Prepare MTS, Compliance Sheets, and Personal Reports as required.
• Full technical understanding of the factory’s products: Valves, Fittings, and Hydrants.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal departments for all technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the same field (Ductile Iron Valves, Fittings, or Infrastructure Water Products).
• Excellent command of Arabic and English (spoken, written, and read).
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
• Previous experience in communication with consultants and government authorities is preferred.
